Getting Started Using ioloVPN
To secure your Internet connection, the ioloVPN software must be open.

Opening ioloVPN

The ioloVPN software will open automatically whenever you start your computer. If you change this default setting, you can manually open ioloVPN by double-clicking the icon in your Applications folder.

Activating ioloVPN

ioloVPN will check your Internet connection and activate automatically whenever your connection is not secure. If you change this default setting, you can activate ioloVPN at any time by clicking on the status icon on the system tray at the bottom right of your screen and selecting Activate. To deactivate ioloVPN, click on the system tray icon and select Deactivate.

Accessing The Menu

To access the ioloVPN menu, click on the icon in the “Taskbar” on the bottom left of your screen. The Status screen will pop up showing details of the current connection. Then click on the Menu icon in the upper right portion of the screen.
  • Red means ioloVPN is not activated. Your communications are not protected.
  • Yellow means ioloVPN is starting up.
  • Green means that ioloVPN is activated. Your Internet connection is encrypted and secure.
  • Blue means ioloVPN is not activated because you are accessing a secure (WPA, WPA2 or wired) connection. Your Internet connection is secure.
  • Activate or Deactivate turns encryption on or off.
  • Status displays information about current connection.
  • Usage shows how much of your data ioloVPN has encrypted.
  • Settings lets you change how ioloVPN opens and activates. You can also choose a different location to reroute your data.
  • Account shows details about your ioloVPN subscription.
  • Help gives you access to on-line Help files, FAQs and ioloVPN’s Customer Support, if you have questions or issues.
